    I have my Word file being nicely generated with PHPDocX but now I want to be able to add a Word Index to the document.

    I understand that I can't do that directly with PHPDocX but I should be able to do it with a macro or after I open the file.

    Is there a way I can add the {xe} hidden text field programmatically when I generate the Word file with PHPDocX?
