The error reported in the topic title gets triggered when a user adds an image to a word document, which originates from a (local) user path that contains a '$' symbol.

eg. "c:\users\$_someUser\Document\local_image.png"

Is there any way to fix this?

We've done some tests and everything work fine. Please post or send to contact[at]phpdocx.com the smallest script that illustrates the issue to check your code.
