    We have run this example: easy/BackgroundImage.php and when I open the document with Word 2007 on Windows, we see the background.

    What do you mean by 'printing'? When you transform the document to PDF?



    The current version of OpenOffice doesn't support DOCX image backgrounds. So if you want to transform it to PDF you'll need to use a Windows server with Office and the method transformDocxUsingMSWord.

    That not depend on PHPDocX but on Word. You just need to open the Word settings and enable printing backgrounds.
