About 14 months ago the following reply was posted to an enquiry regarding updating properties in an existing template. "In the current version of PHPDocX it's not possible to change properties of a template, only in a new DOCX. This will be added on a next version of PHPDocX, but currently the template mas have that properties." Does anyone know if this facility has been implemented yet? Also, I don't want to add new properties, just change the value of existing custom properties. Is this possible? Thanks

Hello, Phpdocx 4 allows to change the document properties in new documents and templates. The trial version doesn't include this feature because it overwrite the features to add a mark. Regards.

Is there any way I can test if the addProperty feature works for my template before purchasing the product? In Word, if you insert a DOCProperty field in the body of your document, the value assigned to that property appears in your document. However, if you then change the value of that property, the previously inserted DOCProperty field does not reflect the new value. You have to press the keys crtl and f9 to update any existing placements of the property in the body of the document. Will the original or updated value of the property appear in the word document generated from PHPDocX after using the addProperty feature to modify the values of existing custom properties. When you say that the addProperty feature overrides the add mark feature, do you mean the add bookmark feature? Thanks again

Hello, On this page you can see what properties are supported by phpdocx: http://www.phpdocx.com/api-documentation/layout-and-general/modify-Word-document-properties-with-PHP DOCProperty fields are not supported in the current version of phpdocx. Phpdocx trial adds custom properties to set the document as create by the trial version. Regards.
