Hello,

What OS are you using?

We´re running a Debian x64. We need Tidy for the replaceTemplateVariableByHTML() function. It´s working superbe locally, but our administrator said, it would take a looong time to get it working on our live server and it wouldn´t be accepable for our customers.

So it would be very nice, if we could tell phpdocx to use something different than tidy.

Hello,

You can avoid using Tidy if the HTML is clean. This is that all tags must be closed, there must exist no blank space between tags or line breaks ('\n') and the HTML must pass XHTML validation.

I think i'ts shorter to install Tidy.

But the problem is (was), that phpdocx is trying to create a new tidy object, when using that function. so i think it´s kinda mandatory to install that. btw: our admin did some voodoo over night and tidy´s running now^^

thank you all for your help anyway!
