    We encourage you to download the current phpdocx version and check the Documentation available.

    Hello,

    removeWordcontent removes the nodes from document.xml, not from the xml.rels file.

    For further support, please send a DOCX to contact[at]phpdocx.com and we'll test the same code with it.
