    Every phpdocx version includes new features and improvements. Previously unsupported features may have been added to newer releases, or past issues may have been corrected.
    We encourage you to download the current phpdocx version and check the Documentation available.

    Hello, Sorry, I meant ' compatibility mode', not 'default mode'. Phpdocx supports DOCX from Word 2003 to the latest version. So for compatibility, some old tags could be used, for example the base template.
