    Why do i need to enter my subdomain when purchasing a license?

    Every phpdocx version includes new features and improvements. Previously unsupported features may have been added to newer releases, or past issues may have been corrected.
    We encourage you to download the current phpdocx version and check the Documentation available.

    I'm in the process of purchasing a Basic license on behalf of my business and we're wondering why we need to provide the information as per below. Could you explain? Thanks.

     

    Please insert the subdomain.domain of your choice, for example, subdomain.mydomain.com

    If you do not have yet a name for your production server you may introduce temporarily the domain "localhost".
